Oppo has officially expanded its popular Reno lineup in India with the launch of the Oppo Reno 15c 5G. Unveiled alongside the flagship Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and the first-ever Reno 15 Pro Mini, the ‘c’ variant is designed to be the endurance champion of the series. While its more premium siblings are set to hit the shelves this week, the Reno 15c 5G is scheduled for availability starting in February 2026.
Endurance Meets Efficiency: 7,000mAh Battery
The standout feature of the Oppo Reno 15c 5G is undoubtedly its massive 7,000mAh battery, the largest ever seen in a Reno series device. Oppo has specifically tailored the Indian variant for power users, opting for this high-capacity cell over the 6,500mAh battery found in the Chinese model. To complement this large reservoir, the phone supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, ensuring that even a battery of this size can be topped up in under an hour.
Design and Display
Despite housing such a large battery, the Reno 15c maintains a relatively slim profile at 8.14mm and weighs 195g. It sports a 6.57-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is designed for outdoor visibility, reaching a typical brightness of 600 nits and a peak brightness of 1,400 nits. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor for seamless biometric security.
For added durability, Oppo has equipped the device with a triple-threat protection rating, meeting IP66, IP68, and IP69 standards for dust and water resistance, making it one of the most rugged mid-range phones in the market.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Reno 15c 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. Built on a 4nm process, this octa-core processor balances performance and power efficiency. The device comes in two configurations:
- 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage
- 12GB RAM + 256GB Storage
It is among the first to ship with ColorOS 16, based on the latest Android 16, offering users the newest software features and security patches straight out of the box.
Camera Capabilities
Oppo continues its focus on photography with a triple-camera setup on the rear:
- 50MP Primary Sensor: (f/1.8 aperture) with support for 4K video recording.
- 8MP Ultra-wide Lens: (f/2.2 aperture) for expansive landscape shots.
- 2MP Macro Shooter: For close-up photography.
On the front, the Reno 15c 5G features a high-resolution 50MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture, also capable of recording 4K video—a rarity in this price segment.

The Oppo Reno 15c 5G is priced competitively for the Indian market:

The smartphone will be available in two elegant colorways: Afterglow Pink and Twilight Blue. Sales are expected to commence in February 2026 via Flipkart, Amazon, and the Oppo India online store.
